Senior Finance Manager

Key Responsibilities
- Lead the preparation and review of monthly financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements, consolidation worksheet and schedules
- Develop, implement and monitor financial strategies and controls to ensure financial stability and growth
- Ensure the accuracy of financial data and in compliance with accounting standards, regulations and company policies
- Manage budgeting and forecasting processes, working closely with other departments to align financial goals with overall business objectives
- Perform in-depth financial analysis to support strategic decision-making and improve profitability
- Prepare Annual Tax Computation
- Being the key person to liaise with bankers, lawyers, company secretary and other professionals for the administration of loans
- Identify financial risks and develop strategies to mitigate potential issues, ensuring compliance with relevant financial regulations
- Oversee internal and external audits, ensuring that all financial practices meet industry standards and legal requirements
- Develop and implement internal controls to safeguard the company’s assets
- Collaborate with senior management to develop long-term financial plans that support the company’s strategic objectives
- Provide key financial insights and recommendations to senior management to improve operational efficiency and maximise profitability
- Assist in preparation of Board Papers for any corporate exercises to be undertaken by the Company and preparation of minutes for the management meetings
About You:
To succeed in this role, you should possess:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
- Able to speak in English, Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin.
- 8 – 12 years of experience in financial management
- Professional certification such as CPA, ACCA, or equivalent is highly desirable
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards, tax regulations, and compliance requirements
- Proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and financial analysis
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial management software
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a keen attention to detail
- Proactive mindset with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Experience working with external auditors, tax authorities, and financial institutions
