Moulding Technician

Preparation for mould set-up to meet the standard hours of mould changing. 1) Set-up moulds for production. 2) Ensure proper setting up for machine parameters & quality of products. 3) Trouble shoot problems that arises at production floor & confirm first run of production to meet customer's requirement. 4)Ensure proper handling, usage and storage of tools jigs & fixtures. 5) Ensure proper usage of jigs and fixtures whenever required. 6) Ensure rejects and wastage incurred during setting up is recorded correctly. 7) Conduct new mould testing and testing of moulds after modification/rectification. 8) Ensure proper housekeeping at production floor in accordance with the 5S. 9) Understand and carry out work in accordance to the ISO 9001, ISO/TS 16949, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 requirement. Job Requirement: 1) Able to set up moulds and adjust machine parameters to yield good parts according to specifications. 2) Trouble shoot problems at production floor whenever problem arises.
