EHS & QMS Executive

• Design, update, and enforce the organization's EHS policies to ensure a safe and compliant working environment.
• Conduct risk assessments to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions to mitigate risks.
• Conduct regular inspections and audits of facilities, machinery, and operations to ensure adherence to safety protocols and compliance with EHS regulations.
• Investigate workplace incidents (accidents, near misses) to identify root causes and ensure proper corrective actions are taken.
• Develop and deliver safety training programs for employees to increase awareness and promote safe work practices.
• Prepare and maintain detailed EHS records, reports, and documentation, including incident reports, compliance logs, and audit findings.
• Develop and implement emergency response procedures, conduct drills, and ensure that necessary equipment and resources are available.
• Assist in the implementation and maintenance of the company's Quality Management System (e.g., ISO 9001) to ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Conduct regular internal audits of processes and systems to ensure compliance with quality standards and identify areas for improvement.
• Ensure that all quality-related documentation is maintained and controlled, including procedures, work instructions, and records.
• Manage and track non-conformance issues, investigate root causes, and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Work with procurement to ensure that suppliers meet quality standards and maintain quality performance records.
• Drive initiatives for continuous improvement in processes, safety, and quality through problem-solving and root cause analysis.
• At least Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering, or a related field.
• Certification in Environmental Health & Safety (e.g. OSHA), ISO 9001 (QMS), ISO 14001, or equivalent is highly preferred.
• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in EHS management and/or Quality Management Systems in a manufacturing or industrial setting.

Pay: RM2,800.00 - RM6,500.00 per month
