Job Description
As a Senior Business Immigration Analyst within a high performing immigration team, you will be provided an excellent platform to learn the technical aspects of immigration law and regulations in Malaysia. You will take on a consultative approach with clients by sharing knowledge and advice and will be well supported with resources to maximise work efficiencies. RESPONSIBILITIES
- Review instructions and information for each new case. Identify key potential issues that may impact immigration formalities (travel plans, dependents, health issues etc.) and advise client and assignee accordingly.
- Coordinate visa application processes for clients seeing each case through from end to end, with guidance from more senior business immigration professionals as needed.
- Maintain constant contact with clients and the relevant local authorities. Keep clients well informed on any issues or changes to regulations or visa processes as required.
- Research, prepare and formulate advice for key clients of Fragomen.
- Participation in conflict resolution and management of client expectations.
- Assist in compiling metrics/reports as required under contractual agreement with respective clients.
- Update firm’s case management system and maintenance of client files in accordance with agreed practice protocols.
- Client invoicing on completion of each case.
- Supervise and provide guidance to junior team members.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- A bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
- Has 2-4 years of working experience, ideally with exposure within immigration or international mobility
- Ability to demonstrate attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to Multi-task in a fast-paced environment with competing demands.
- Meets assigned deadlines and communicates case progress/status/issues to supervisor.
- Demonstrate flexibility and initiative regarding assignments for self and team.
- Ability to contribute to positive work environment.
