Senior Executive/Executive - IT (Technical Support)

Job Description

Core Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain software licensing and hardware inventory control.
• Conduct and/ or assist in conducting software applications training.
• Provide first level Helpdesk Support/ Services or basic applications such as email, in-house applications, HR software etc.
• Advise and provide onsite IT support to branches and associated companies.
• Assist superior to oversee system support operation which include but not limited to data security, regular system updates, upgrades, migrations and outages.
• Assist with the development and implementation of the information security solutions plan/ risk management plan; provide policies and standard procedures on the risk handling and tools to protect the integrity and security of the information and data.
• Identify and propose on the areas of improvement to perform better system support processes in line with the business needs.
• Assist in other ad-hoc duties as may be arranged from time to time.

Job Specifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science/ Information Technology or other additional certifications such as CISA, CISSP, CCNA, CCNP, and Certified Ethical Hacking or equivalents would be an advantage.
• At least five (5) years of experience in related field.
• Understanding of ISO 27001, PCI-DSS, Privacy, COBIT ITIL. BCM will be advantages.
• Knowledge of monitoring compliance with the approved Information Security policies & procedures.
• Familiar with LAN environment with hardware/ peripheral maintenance and troubleshooting skills.
• Able to work under minimum supervision and deal with deadlines.
• Initiative and taking prompt actions to resolve problems.
• Willing to travel whenever necessary.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM4,000.00 per month
