Job Descriptions
Job Responsibilities:
01) Responsible to lead and manage group of Chargeman in taking care operation and maintenance for factories electrical distribution system from SSU 33kV, 11KV Switchgear, TX, MSB & SSB.
02) To monitor and manage daily operation for self-generating plants, CHP and SOLAR system, to operate within design efficiencies.
03) To lead and support for any unplanned breakdown at factories electrical network, oversee planning & activities in order to effectively resume electricity on time with optimize restoration cost.
04) To do electrical supply integration and optimization project between factories to support for adequate electrical supply for production planning as when deemed necessary.
05) To manage and take care TG mobile genset as well support TG Meru Klang factories standby genset operation especially during planned/unplanned electrical interruption.
06) To prepare monthly performance for 2 unit CHP BOOT System, required documentation for monthly payment approval and follow up on payment flow.
07) To support project team & factories M&E in term of electrical planning, upgrading especially when involve with focal downstream electrical system exp MSB & SSB.
08) Read, interpret and understand electrical drawings, diagram, electrical specifications, electrical instrumentation and schematic in order to effectively troubleshoot, redesign electrical distribution network when deemed necessary.
09) To manage hiring and oversee arrangement on external visiting engineer arrangement for factories electrical and solar installation.
10) To update all focal documentation on factories electrical system drawings, electrical metering record, electrical service, maintenance and calibration record and etc as needed.
11) To prepare material/slide/documentation as needed for meeting/presentation example Group Departmental Meeting, Monthly Meeting and etc.
12) To work and communicate promptly with TNB HQ/Klang to take care TG Meru Klang factories interest.
13) To communicate and work closely with all appointed contractor/supplier to deliver work and result on time and take care TG interest on the project investment cost.
14) Assist in all other related job functions as and when required by HOD.
15) Liaise with utilities provider such as TNB, ST & TM and other regulatory bodies on utility services and compliance issues.
