Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent. Prior experience in inventory management, warehousing, or related field is preferred. Skills and Abilities: Strong organizational and time-management skills. Attention to detail and accuracy in handling inventory. Ability to operate inventory management software and systems. Good communication skills to coordinate with team members and suppliers. Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and move heavy items as needed. Comfortable working in a warehouse environment. Ability to stand, walk, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods. Personal Attributes: Dependable and punctual with a strong work ethic. Problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of inventory levels. Conduct regular physical counts and reconcile with inventory management system. Monitor stock levels and replenish items as necessary. Receiving and Dispatching: Receive, inspect, and verify all incoming shipments. Prepare and dispatch outgoing shipments, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Coordinate with suppliers and transport companies for smooth logistics operations. Storage and Organization: Ensure proper storage of items in designated areas. Organize the warehouse to optimize space and efficiency. Label and categorize items for easy retrieval. Safety and Compliance: Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols to maintain a safe working environment. Comply with company policies and procedures regarding inventory management and storage. Report any discrepancies or issues to the management. Maintain accurate documentation of all transactions and movements of inventory. Generate and present regular inventory reports to management. Assist in audits and provide necessary documentation.Safety and Compliance: Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
