  1. Make sure the webpage is open.
  2. In the Safari app on your Mac, choose Safari > Preferences, then click Security.
  3. Make sure the Enable JavaScript checkbox is selected.
  4. Click Websites.
  5. On the left, click Content Blockers.
  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We're looking for a creative videographer to assist to plan, execute and curate memorable videos to be used for social media content and company branding. The ideal candidate will have a strong artistic eye for the way color and visual effects enhance storytelling in addition to some experience filming, producing, editing, and distributing video for social media. If you’re a creative and self-motivated videographer who enjoys staying current on video tools and technology in addition to planning, scripting, filming and cutting video, we would love to speak with you!

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Research, plan, and create scripts for videos that enhance company branding and presence.
  • Interview subject-matter experts for video ideas and content creation.
  • Ensure all recording and studio equipment is in good working order and keep track of new purchases and other expenses.
  • Coordinate video recording schedules and plans with staff and event teams.
  • Film, edit, and distribute video content to the proper teams and channels.
  • Add graphics, captions, and special effects to videos as needed.
  • Keep up to speed on current video-creation trends and practices.

KEY REQUIREMENTS

  • English and Mandarin required
  • Strong creativity, video creation, storytelling, and editing skills.
  • Able to work with various teams on multiple projects at one time.
  • Knows how to make subjects comfortable in front of the camera.
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
  • Deep understanding of pre- and post-production video techniques.
  • Knowledge of current video editing software (such as Premiere Pro, Movie Maker, and Final Cut).
