Responsibilities
- Prepare a wide variety of meats for sale, including cutting, deboning, and trimming as necessary.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area in accordance with health and safety regulations.
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers with product selection and answering questions about meat preparation.
- Monitor and manage inventory levels, ensuring that fresh products are available and minimizing waste.
- Apply safe food handling techniques to ensure the quality and safety of all meat products.
- Work collaboratively with team members to meet customer demand and maintain store standards.
- Make recommendations for special cuts or seasonal products to enhance sales and customer satisfaction.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a butcher or in a similar role in the retail industry.
- Strong knowledge of various meat types, cuts, and preparation techniques.
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations concerning food handling.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to maintain inventory and product quality.
- Physical stamina and strength to perform manual tasks, including lifting heavy items.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: RM2,600.00 - RM3,000.00 per month
