Job Responsibilities:
- Provides general and detailed maintenance services (under direct or indirect supervision), including patching, painting, hardware repairs, and other necessary repair or replacement work.
- Follows up on and resolves all issues, defects, and repairs related to company property.
- Performs routine maintenance on facilities and equipment.
- Dedicates some hours each week to assist with general office tasks related to the work request system and the ordering of supplies and materials.
- Conducts routine daily inspections of assigned buildings and systems.
- Adheres to the Facilities Work Request System for tracking and managing maintenance requests.
- Completes all necessary documentation for work performed in a timely manner.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Minimum education: High school diploma (SPM), Certificate, Diploma, or equivalent.
- At least 2 years of verifiable experience (3 years or more highly desirable) in maintaining various building interiors and exteriors, including office facilities, tools, machines, and painted or wallpapered walls.
- Experience in repairing, servicing, and maintaining electrical and plumbing systems or related equipment.
- Relevant trade qualifications and proven technical experience.
- Skills required: General maintenance, facility management, hand tools, drywall repair, and other related tasks.
- Technical expertise: Specialized knowledge and skills necessary to perform specific maintenance tasks and use related tools effectively.
Job Type: Permanent
Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM2,500.00 per month
