- Administer and process accurate monthly payroll for all employees, ensuring timely and correct payment of salaries.
- Calculate and process additional payments, such as overtime, bonuses, commissions, and allowances.
- Ensure deductions are correctly calculated, including tax, insurance, pension, and other statutory deductions
- Ensure compliance with local labor laws and tax regulations, such as income tax e.g., EPF, SOCSO and other statutory requirements.
- Keep updated on changes in labor laws or tax regulations that may affect payroll processing.
- File and submit statutory reports and payments on time to relevant government agencies e.g., tax authorities
- Maintain and update employee payroll records in the HR management system HRMS
- Ensure data accuracy in relation to employee salaries, bonuses, deductions, and benefits.
- Prepare reports for management and internal stakeholders on payroll-related metrics e.g., total payroll expenses, overtime, etc.
- Preferred Candidates:
- 2 to 4 years of experience in Payroll, specifically for China and Taiwan markets.
- Less than 1 year of experience can be considered.
- Open to fresh graduates, with emphasis on attitude, character, and mindset.
- Open to candidates from shared services and in-house roles.
- Preferred skills: SAP and Workday.
- This role is a backfill.
- Qualifications: Diploma holders with work experience are welcome.
- Excel Skills: Proficiency in VLOOKUP, Excel templates, and pivot tables.
- Interview Process:
- One level of interview.
- First option: face-to-face interview.
- Second option: virtual interviews for non-Klang Valley candidates.
- Two engagement managers per interview.
- Working Hours: 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM
- Excel Skills: Proficiency in VLOOKUP, Excel templates, and pivot tables.
- Office Attendance: 12 days per month, with arrangements to be made with the engagement manager.
