• Minimum five (5) years’ experience in Oil and gas industry and minimum three (3) years’ experience as a Health, Safety and Environment (“HSE”) Officer. • Possess a college degree or the equivalent level of certification compatible with position. • Registered Safety and Health Officer (“SHO”) is and added advantage, subject to the requirement of the specific role to be assigned. • Auditing and incident investigation certification or experience is an added advantage. • Good command of Bahasa Malaysia and English. • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. • Information technology savvy and good at presentation and technical writing. • Ensure compliance with statutory, company, industry and applicable international regulations and standards. • Keeping an overview of Health, Safety, Security and Environment (“HSSE”) related activities within areas of assignment and when tasked additionally. • Registered as SHO and perform duties of SHO when assigned. • To support the management in implementation of HSSE plans or coordinating activities relating to the protection, safeguarding and security of the COMPANY’s assets, employees and others. • To support the implementation of the HSSE Objectives and Improvement plans. • To monitor HSSE policies, manuals, procedure, guidelines, instructions, program, established goals and objectives are accomplished with prescribes priorities and within the time limitation set. • To participate in HSSE meetings, inspections, audits, drill and exercise and investigations. • To identify areas for continuous improvement.
