Duties: -

Your primary duty is to greet, welcome and seat all guests in your Outlet, take reservations and plan seating assignments. The strength and sincerity of the Shangri-La’s image should reflect at all times through a friendly, courteous manner and helpful attitude extending beyond guest’s expectation.

It should be noted that Hostess can be designated in charge of any area at any time and therefore must have a full and comprehensive working knowledge of all areas within the Food and Beverage Division.

The Hostess works on Captain level and has the authority to ensure that all guest requests directed to her are carried out.

Requirements: -

Pleasant personality and well groomed.
SPM and/ or Diploma in Hotel Management.
2-3 years minimum working experience.
Passion for providing extraordinary service.
Must be able to articulate clear greetings and farewells to guests, as well as being able to understand requests for assistance.
Must be able to clearly communicate guests’ needs to other staff.
Ability to work positively in a fast-paced environment.
Due to work pass restriction, only citizens of Malaysia and Permanent Residents of Malaysia shall be considered.
