Job Summary:
As a Finance Manager, you will play a critical role in overseeing the financial activities of the organization. You will be responsible for guiding financial decisions, monitoring budgets, analyzing financial data, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. Your expertise will contribute to the overall financial health and strategic growth of the company.
Responsibilities:
1. Financial Planning and Analysis:
- Develop, monitor, and analyze financial budgets and forecasts.
- Provide insights and recommendations to support strategic planning and decision-making.
- Identify trends, risks, and opportunities within financial data.
2. Financial Reporting:
- Prepare and present accurate financial statements, reports, and analyses.
- Ensure timely and accurate submission of financial reports to internal and external stakeholders.
- Interpret financial data for management and provide actionable insights.
3. Financial Management:
- Manage the day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.
- Optimize working capital and manage cash flow to meet operational needs.
- Monitor and manage financial transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
4. Budget Control:
- Monitor actual financial performance against budgets and forecasts.
- Identify areas of cost reduction, efficiency improvement, and revenue enhancement.
- Implement measures to control and manage costs effectively.
5. Financial Compliance:
- Ensure adherence to financial regulations, laws, and accounting standards.
- Collaborate with auditors and regulatory authorities during audits and examinations.
- Maintain accurate and organized financial records and documentation.
6. Team Leadership:
- Supervise and mentor a team of financial professionals.
- Provide guidance, support, and professional development opportunities to team members.
- Foster a collaborative and results-driven work environment.
7. Financial Strategy:
- Contribute to the development of financial strategies aligned with organizational goals.
- Collaborate with executive management to drive financial initiatives and business growth.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or a related field;
- Proven experience as a Finance Manager or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of financial principles, regulations, and best practices.
- Proficiency in financial software and tools, including advanced knowledge of Excel.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and leadership abilities.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
* Working Location: Jalan Glasiar, Taman Tasek, Johor Bahru
* 5 days work week - Monday to Friday 8 am to 5 pm
* 14 days Public Holiday
* 14 days Annual Leave
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: RM10,000.00 - RM15,000.00 per month
