Job Overview:
The Delegates Acquisition Executive is responsible for driving attendee acquisition for conferences, seminars, workshops, or other events. This role involves implementing strategies to attract and convert potential attendees, ultimately maximizing event participation and ensuring its success. The Delegates Acquisition Executive plays a crucial role in achieving attendance targets and enhancing the overall attendee experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead Generation and Conversion:
- Generate leads through proactive outreach efforts, including cold calling, email outreach, networking, and referrals.
- Qualify leads to assess their level of interest, relevance, and likelihood of attendance.
- Employ sales techniques and persuasive communication to convert leads into registered attendees.
Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain relationships with prospective attendees, providing personalized assistance and support throughout the registration process.
- Address inquiries, concerns, and objections raised by potential attendees in a professional and timely manner.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for registered attendees, offering assistance and guidance leading up to the event.
Sales Performance and Reporting:
- Set and achieve attendance targets and registration quotas for the event.
- Monitor and track key performance indicators related to lead generation, conversion rates, and registration progress.
- Provide regular reports and updates on sales performance, trends, and insights to the event management team.

You are/have:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and persuade potential delegates.
- Proactive attitude and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new strategies and approaches.
- Ability to meet targets and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Previous experience in delegate acquisition, event marketing, or sales roles is a plus.
Languages:
Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia (written and verbal). Proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
Education:
Minimum of a Diploma in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or related field.
Work Experience:
Minimum 1 year of working experience in related field. Fresh graduates also welcome to apply.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM3,000.00 per month
