The Marketing Assistant supports the marketing team by performing a variety of tasks aimed at promoting the company’s products and services. This role includes assisting in market research, content creation, campaign execution, social media management, and administrative support. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, proactive, and have a passion for marketing.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Market Research & Analysis:

  • Conduct research on market trends, competitors, and customer preferences.
  • Assist in analyzing data to help create targeted marketing strategies.
  • Help gather customer feedback and insights to inform campaigns.

Content Creation & Management:

  • Assist in writing, editing, and proofreading content for websites, blogs, social media, newsletters, and marketing materials.
  • Help design graphics or videos for digital marketing campaigns.
  • Maintain and update content calendars for various platforms.
  • Collaborate with the creative team to ensure brand consistency.

Campaign Support:

  • Assist in the planning, execution, and monitoring of marketing campaigns.
  • Track the performance of campaigns using analytics tools and provide regular reports.
  • Support email marketing efforts (building lists, drafting newsletters, etc.).
  • Help manage paid advertising campaigns (e.g. social media ads).

Social Media Management:

  • Assist in creating and scheduling social media posts.
  • Monitor social media channels for engagement and customer inquiries.
  • Help grow the company’s online presence and follower base.

Event Support:

  • Assist in organizing promotional events, webinars, or trade shows.
  • Coordinate logistics, such as booking venues, managing attendee lists, and preparing event materials.

Administrative Support:

  • Maintain and organize marketing files, budgets, and campaign schedules.
  • Assist in coordinating meetings and follow-ups with external vendors and stakeholders.
  • Provide general administrative support to the marketing team.

Other Duties as Assigned:

  • Take on special projects as required to assist the broader marketing department.
  • Stay up-to-date on marketing trends and new tools/technologies.

JOB REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Experience:

  • Previous experience in marketing or a related field is a plus (internships or entry-level roles experience are acceptable).

Skills:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Familiarity with digital marketing tools (Google Analytics, social media platforms, etc.).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and basic design software (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite).
  • Basic knowledge of SEO, content marketing, and social media management.
  • Organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
  • Creative thinking with a passion for marketing and branding.

  • Highly motivated, reliable, and detail-oriented.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
  • Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.

REMUNERATION & BENEFITS

  • RM2,300 – RM3,500 (Basic salary commensurate with relevant experience and qualification).

WORKING HOUR:

Monday - Thursday; 8.30am-6.00pm

Friday; 8.30am-5.00pm

Alam Perdana Industrial Park, Taman Putra Perdana, 47130 Puchong, Selangor.
