LOCAL TOOLING SDN BHD seeks an Senior Tool & Die Machines Specialist to help design test our planned upcoming projects with crate dependable, hardworking products benefitting out company’s name • Design and fabricate precision tools, dies, molds, jigs, and fixtures according to engineering specifications. • Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD designs to create tools and dies that meet production needs. • Select appropriate materials and machining techniques for the fabrication process. • Operate and maintain complex machining equipment, such as CNC machines, lathes, milling machines, and grinders. • Perform regular maintenance and troubleshooting of tool and die machinery to ensure efficient operation. • Diagnose and repair defective tools, dies, and molds to restore functionality and maintain production timelines. • Adjust or modify tools and dies to address quality or performance issues. • Inspect finished tools and dies for precision, accuracy, and quality using measuring instruments like calipers, micrometers, and gauges. • Collaborate with quality control teams to ensure tools and dies meet industry and company standards. • Recommend improvements to tool and die designs or manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency and reduce waste. • Lead tool and die projects, ensuring deadlines and specifications are met. • Create and update technical documentation, including operation manuals and maintenance schedules. • Conduct safety checks on tools and equipment to minimize hazards.
