About the Company Our client was founded in 2016 to serve the growing demands of logistics to internal and external customer in Asia-Pacific region. Every customer and his individual situation is at the center of our offered solution. They are looking for Finance and Billing Officer to join their team in Malaysia, which is supporting the Asia-Pacific region. As a part of a multi-cultural team you achieve exceptional service in cooperation with global forwarders and other stakeholders. You will be responsible to ensure that services performed are billed timely and accurately to their customers, and that incoming invoices are properly checked, processed and booked into systems. You support the department head in overseeing both Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP) and any finance related tasks. Responsibilities Billing: preparation and booking of invoices and submission to customers. Handle for Account Receivable (AR). Handle for Account Payable (AP). Accurately record and book incoming/cost invoices. Support financial reporting and analysis. Analyze COPA reports to monitor job profitability and margins on job/file level. Ensure all billing activities adhere to company policies and regulatory requirements. Provide the department head with updates/reviews of SOPs and support improving the same. Preparation of ad-hoc reports for the management. Support general administrative tasks. Provide billing-related support and respond to inquiries from customers in a professional and timely manner. Collaborating with other departments, offices/branches and business units within the company group. Co-operate with external parties as and when necessary. Promoting a collaborative environment and team spirit. Other related tasks assigned from time to time. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field. 2-3 years of experience in finance, accounting, billing, or a similar role. Strong knowledge of billing procedures, invoicing, and payment processing. Effective written and oral communication skills in English. Excellent attention to detail, strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Proficiency in common applications e.g. Microsoft Office, SAP experience is a plus. Willing to take ownership and responsibilities as problem solver. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
