Mission of the Inside Presales Technical Consultant (TC): Our mission is to support sales opportunities by providing technical guidance through various communication channels. Assist our End-User sales and Channel teams in navigating Personal Systems & Print products, solutions, and services, ensuring they secure business wins and deliver an excellent total customer experience (TCE). This role is focused on the Vietnam market. The technical presales consultant will join a global team that provides technical presales support to all APJ countries, including Vietnam. The RFP documents issued by the Vietnam government and other public sector entities are in Vietnam. The technical consultant is tasked with analyzing these tender documents and crafting responses in Thai. Business partners (resellers) supported by the technical consultant communicate exclusively in Vietnamese. Vietnamese sales colleagues seek guidance from the technical presales consultant on questions from Vietnam end customers, also communicated in Vietnamese. The technical consultant must engage in verbal and written communication with partners, sales personnel, and end customers in their native Vietnamese language. In addition to mandatory native level proficiency in Vietnamese language, familiarity with Vietnam culture and Vietnam business practices is a plus. Responsibilities: Provide technical recommendations, direction, and guidance on HP Personal Systems & Print offerings. Respond to and track technical questions from internal or external requestors in Vietnamese language. Present the advantages of HP’s Personal Systems & print products and solutions to Vietnamese customers, partners or sales people. Assist sales representatives in responding to customers’ requests (RFI, RFP, RFQ) published in Vietnamese language.. Support sales opportunities with in-depth technical understanding of HP’s offerings. Provide support on the status of technical and environmental regulations for sales opportunities in Vietnam. Deliver trainings to other departments about Personal Systems & print products and solutions to Vietnamese partners, sales or sales operations teams. Manage technical escalations and provide proactive technical updates to the Vietnamese sales community. Collaborate with various technical resources as needed, within the Presales organization or Worldwide Divisional resources. Maintain a high level of service quality and total customer experience (TCE). Ensure a competitive and appropriate level of technical and professional competence. Individuals who do well in this role at HP, usually possess: Advanced proficiency in spoken and written Vietnamese and English to manage Vietnam market . Proficiency in another language is advantageous. Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, preferably in a technical/engineering field or computer science. Current experience and knowledge in computer technologies, hardware, operating systems, software, and networking technologies. Strong analytical, organizational, and team skills, with troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities. Self-motivated with the ability to operate with minimal tactical direction. Demonstrated motivation to seek knowledge and continuous learning. Typically, minimum 3 years of relevant work experience.
