Site Engineer

Job Responsibilities • Monitoring all construction work and activities at site project day to day, including supervising and monitoring the site labor force and subcontractors. • Prepare all daily, weekly & monthly progress reports for submission to client. • Collaborate closely with project managers, architects and subcontractors to ensure timely project completion. • Ensuring all construction work complies with the design following the requirement of client. • Prepare and arrange all calibration of tools and machinery equipment and keep it all well documented. • Arrange and conduct all necessary testing of construction materials. • Liaise with client, consultant and sub-contractors regarding all work progress and quality of work. • Solve any issues that arise at construction site by Right of Way (ROW) or any issues with client, sub-contractors and local authorities. • Planning and monitoring project costs, identifying cost-saving opportunities and adhering to the budget allocation. • Perform any other duties assigned by superior. Job Requirements • Minimum Diploma in Civil Engineering or its related field. • Have 3 to 5 years’ experience as Civil Engineer / Site Engineer in construction field preferably in large scale infrastructure projects. • Have good communication and strong problem-solving skills. • Have good report writing skills. • Have any experience in TNB projects especially in building Electrical Substation and Overhead Transmission Lines are an added advantage. • Willing to travel to other site projects if required.
