Role Overview We are seeking a dynamic, dedicated, and passionate Computing Science Teacher to join our secondary school team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality lessons that develop students' technical skills, problem-solving abilities, and a genuine love for computing and technology. The ideal candidate will have: Expertise in Computing: A strong academic background in Computing or a related field, with proven experience teaching IGCSE and A-Level syllabi. Classroom Management Skills: Ability to create a positive and focused classroom atmosphere. Passion for Teaching: Enthusiasm that motivates students to engage deeply with computing topics and develop a love for technology. Student-Centered Approach: Commitment to tailoring teaching strategies to meet diverse learning needs and helping students reach their full potential. Collaborative Mindset: A team-oriented approach to departmental planning and school initiatives. Commitment to Professional Growth: A reflective attitude and eagerness to stay current with best practices and emerging trends in Computing education. Qualifications and Experience: A degree in Education, or a related field. Teaching qualification (e.g. PGCE) is highly desirable. Proven experience teaching computing science at the secondary level.
