Role Purpose: • Strategize, lead, implement and monitor the Sales business operations within the region scope to ensure safe and optimum operations at highest quality level within the targeted budget. Key Accountability: • Strategize and direct the execution of commercial initiatives for the region to ensure effective delivery of key deliverables and respective revenue targets. • Provide strong leadership & support in the development, implementation benefit realization of the region annual business plan in order to maximize revenue with prudent cost control. • Direct & lead the team to optimize sales revenue by driving & monitoring the route marketing, inventory &competitive pricing strategy that contributes to the improvement in routes profitability, yield and loads. • Monitor, analyze and review the regions sales performance, routes profitability, cost of sales and industry performance indicators to ensure any performance gaps are rectified in a timely and effective manner. • Build and maintain goodwill and relationship with both internal & external stakeholders such as Travel, Media, Corporate Business Partners, Tourism Boards, local authorities and attend industry functions on a regular basis to establish contacts, network and promote the interests of MAG. • Build and maintain a motivated, productive, efficient and committed team in a cost-effective manner that is focussed on achievement of target and set KPI's and goals. • Identify new business opportunities and build relationships with potential clients, including corporations, small to medium-sized businesses, and other potential clients. • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of the industry, including regulations, market trends, and best practices. Qualifications & Working Experience: • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (travel, hospitality management, aviation management, or business management). • Minimum of 7 years of experience in sales, with a proven track record of success. Area of Experience: • Previous experience in a regional sales management role is preferred. Personality Traits: • Strong leadership and management skills with experience in managing teams of ticketing agents. • Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills. • Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks effectively and efficiently. • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers, colleagues, and industry stakeholders. • Demonstrated ability to manage a high-volume reservation and ticketing operation and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
