Brief summary of Position
Marketing Officer is responsible for university’s marketing and communications strategies, as well as overall branding and image. They prepare annual marketing plans, create a calendar of university and events, set the marketing budget and analyse the market and competitors. Together with marketing activities from social media and digital campaigns to advertising and creative projects.
Main Job Duties / Responsibilities
1. Plan and execute a marketing strategy for the University and for new and existing programs offered.
2. Oversee the study of markets, and the implementation of the marketing strategy.
3. Set and administer an annual marketing budget.
4. Create and manage a calendar of events such as webinars, conferences and thought leadership contributions.
5. Continually review changes to the market, consumer trends and the activities of competitors, adjusting the marketing plan if necessary.
6. Assign, distribute and follow up the tasks and workload amongst the department’s staff and prepare timelines and set deadlines to complete those tasks.
7. Guide the day-to-day activities of the marketing team.
8. Manage and refine the university’s website and social media presence.
9. Perform other tasks as assigned by the immediate superior.
Qualifications
Candidate should have Bachelor Degree level for this position (Specialization: Marketing).
Candidate should have at least 2 years’ experience in marketing position.
Proficiency in English and Arabic.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM3,000.00 per month
