Responsibilities:
- Manage and coordinate all procurement and sourcing activities inclusive of supplier performance
- Responsible to release RFQ to suppliers with clear specifications and follow with cost benefit analysis
- Negotiate MQQ, lead time, pricing, total logistics costs and other terms & conditions with new and existing suppliers
- Issues Purchase Orders to pricing, terms and conditions that are negotiated and as agreed and approved by management
- Ensure suppliers' conformance toward established agreement or purchase order
- Resolve account payable and receiving discrepancies
- Interact and with cross functional team for day-to-day operation
- Monitor and continuously improves suppliers' delivery and quality performance. Address and resolve recurring or critical issue by utilizing corrective action tools and additional resources. Provides inputs to drive the resolutions of supplier performance by working closely with Quality team
- Review periodically on the open order to ensure On Time Delivery
- Maintains integrity of master data and purchasing parameters in order to minimize material liability and to balance the cost of procurement in accordance with company policy.
- Participate in monthly/quarterly supplier review and circulate the performance to the assigned suppliers
- Continuous looking for alternate supply source materials on existing programs.
- Responsible on the new material sourcing priorities toward local and region continent.
- Drive supplier qualification process and incorporated onto approved vendor list
Requirements
- Candidate must possess at least a bachelor's degree preferably in Business Studies
- Fluency in English and any other language is an added advantage.
- Knowledge of purchasing and sourcing system and practices
- Strong negotiation skills, good communication skills and organization skills
- High levels of integrity, responsible, independent, fast learner and adapt to priorities with minimum supervision
