Job Overview:
UCSI Schools is seeking a passionate and dedicated French Teacher to join our dynamic team for the secondary level. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective French language instruction while fostering a love for the French language and culture among students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teaching and Curriculum Delivery:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging French language lessons for secondary-level students.
- Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with the school's curriculum and international standards.
- Employ innovative teaching methods and resources to cater to diverse learning needs.
- Student Development:
- Monitor and assess students’ progress, providing constructive feedback to support language development.
- Foster an inclusive and encouraging classroom environment that supports student growth and participation.
- Encourage cultural appreciation through activities, discussions, and projects related to French culture and traditions.
- Administrative Duties:
- Maintain accurate student records, including attendance, grades, and progress reports.
- Participate in parent-teacher meetings, providing insights into student performance and areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with the school’s academic team to enhance the overall curriculum.
- Professional Development:
- Stay updated with the latest teaching practices and educational technology.
- Attend staff meetings, workshops, and training sessions as required.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in French, Education, or a related field.
- Teaching certification or equivalent qualification is preferred.
- Proven experience teaching French at the secondary level.
- Strong command of the French language (both written and spoken).
Skills and Competencies:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to engage and motivate students of varying skill levels.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Proficiency in using technology for teaching and assessment purposes.
Working Hours:
- As per the school’s academic schedule.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: RM2,400.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
