The Opportunity
- Oversee and monitor air import operations, ensuring seamless services and achievement of operational KPIs.
- Manage daily air freight shipments, customs clearance, and trucking using CW1/Sealnet system.
- Coordinate with team members, vendors, and customers to ensure smooth import shipment transactions.
- Handle payment requests, costing, billing, and ensure timely customer payments.
- Maintain accurate document filing, adhering to company policies and import procedures.
- Ensure regulatory compliance, including DP screening, and assist with other management assignments.
What you’ll succeed
- Strong understanding of product, market, and basic airfreight operations; familiar with Incoterms.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, CW1, and Customs Declaration Systems (RA/Sealnet/Cargo Declare; strong presentation abilities.
- Excellent communication skills; ability to build relationships with vendors, customers, and colleagues; effective team player.
- DG certification and Forklift license preferred, advanced English language skills.
- 1-2 years of related experience, ideally in freight forwarding.
