Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Secondary English Teacher to join our team for year 7 until 11. The ideal candidate will have experience teaching the IGCSE curriculum and a commitment to fostering a positive learning environment. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality English instruction, developing engaging lesson plans, and assessing student progress. This role requires excellent communication skills, creativity, and a strong understanding of educational best practices.

Responsbilites

  • Plan and deliver effective English lessons aligned with the IGCSE curriculum, ensuring students meet the learning objectives
  • Develop engaging and comprehensive lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs of students.
  • Maintain regular communication with parents regarding student progress, challenges, and successes.
  • Design and administer assessments to evaluate student progress, providing timely feedback and support to help them improve.
  • Identify students who need additional support and provide targeted interventions to help them succeed
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to share best practices, resources, and strategies for effective teaching.
  • Support and participate in school extracurricular activities, events, and initiatives.

Requirements

  • Minimum Diploma and above in English, Education, or related field.
  • Open for Fresh-graduate.
  • Strong understanding of the IGCSE curriculum and assessment methods.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated passion for teaching and a commitment to student success.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Fresh graduate

Pay: Up to RM18.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 16 per week
