HEAD OF PROCUREMENT & CONTRACTS

Job Responsibilities: 1. As the Head to lead and manage the Company’s Procurement & Contracts Department. 2. To lead and oversee all procurement tasks within the Company. 3. To lead and oversee contracts management and contract administration tasks alongside with project management teams. 4. To source and negotiate for most competitive subcontractors/suppliers ensuring procurement award within project budget, meet individual project requirements. 5. To review Company procurement award documents (Purchase Order/ Work Order/ Letter of Appointment), Sub-contract Conditions of Contract and negotiate on terms & conditions for all procurements award. 6. To supervise tender/quotation activities from invitation, recommendation and award approval to comply with Company Procurement Procedures. 7. To monitor and verify all subcontractors’/suppliers’ payment recommendation certificates duly prepared by purchaser/project Quantity Surveyor. 8. To monitor timely submission of all project progress claims to respective clients and to ensure claim evaluation and certification carried out within agreed time frame. 9. To work alongside with project manager on project cash flow projection and closely monitor project budget requirements. 10. To advise Project Manager for any contractual related issues including drafting of contractual correspondences. 11. To represent Company for any mediation, arbitration and legal proceedings for project. 12. To ensure conduct and work is in compliance with ISO requirements and company’s policies/regulations/ procedures. Job Requirements: • Degree in Quantity Surveying, Degree in Business Studies/Administration/ Management or related discipline. • Minimum 15 years of related working experiences with 5 years in managerial role. • Candidate with strong knowledge on construction contract or familiar with PWD or FIDIC contract are encouraged to apply. • Experience in Water/waste water industry construction costing is an added advantage.
