Position Overview:
The Credit Control Admin is responsible for managing and overseeing the institution's credit and payment processes to ensure timely collection of fees and maintain healthy financial operations. The role involves close collaboration with students, parents, and internal departments to manage outstanding balances while maintaining excellent customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Credit Control Management:
- Monitor and manage student fee payments and outstanding balances.
- Implement and enforce payment terms and conditions.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all fee transactions.
- Communication and Follow-Up:
- Communicate with students and parents regarding payment reminders and overdue accounts.
- Respond to inquiries about fees and payment plans professionally and promptly.
- Issue invoices, statements, and collection letters as necessary.
- Reporting and Analysis:
- Prepare regular reports on outstanding balances and payment collection progress.
- Analyze payment trends and provide insights to improve collection processes.
- Collaborate with the finance team to reconcile accounts and address discrepancies.
- Payment Plans and Negotiations:
- Assist students in setting up payment plans when necessary.
- Negotiate repayment terms in line with institutional policies.
- Compliance and Policies:
- Ensure all credit control activities comply with institutional policies and relevant regulations.
- Maintain confidentiality of student financial information.
- Administrative Support:
- Provide administrative support for the finance and accounts department.
- Assist with audits and documentation related to fee collection and credit control.
Requirements:
- Education: A diploma or degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or a related field.
- Experience:
- Previous experience in credit control, finance, or administrative roles is an advantage.
- Skills:
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and accounting software.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational abilities.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: RM1,700.00 - RM2,000.00 per month
