Job Summary
The Operations Manager plays a critical role in ensuring that organizational processes are efficient, effective, and aligned with the company's strategic objectives. This individual oversees the day-to-day operations, manages resources, optimizes workflow, and ensures compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Operational Management
- Plan, direct, and coordinate operations to achieve company goals.
- Oversee daily operational activities to ensure efficiency and productivity.
- Develop and implement operational policies and procedures.
- Daily reporting to management
- Evaluate data and numbers for operational matters
- Resource Management
- Manage operation timeline of team members in task completions and evaluate the workforce on business expansion
- Process Optimization
- Analyze existing processes and identify areas for improvement.
- Implement innovative solutions to enhance workflow and reduce costs.
- Team Leadership
- Supervise, train, and mentor operational staff.
- Set performance targets and ensure teams meet their goals.
- Foster a collaborative and results-driven work environment.
- Performance Monitoring
- Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Prepare reports and present operational insights to senior management.
- Compliance and Risk Management
- Ensure adherence to company policies, industry regulations, and legal requirements.
- Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies to safeguard operations.
- Customer and Stakeholder Management
- Maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and stakeholders.
- Address customer concerns and ensure high-quality service delivery.
Qualifications and Skills
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in MBBS, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field (Manage a team of claims from the insurance company) is highly preferred.
Experience:
- Proven experience in operations management or a similar role.
- Strong track record of process improvement, resource optimization and had experience managing a business healthcare operation or insurance claims department.
- Minimum 4 years of experience is highly preferred
Skills:
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in operational tools and software (e.g., ERP systems, MS Office).
- Analytical mindset with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities under tight deadlines.
- Ability to have strong emotional resilience whilst managing a team of people and colleagues.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: RM7,000.00 - RM8,000.00 per month
