Job Summary

The Operations Manager plays a critical role in ensuring that organizational processes are efficient, effective, and aligned with the company's strategic objectives. This individual oversees the day-to-day operations, manages resources, optimizes workflow, and ensures compliance with company policies and industry regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operational Management
  • Plan, direct, and coordinate operations to achieve company goals.
  • Oversee daily operational activities to ensure efficiency and productivity.
  • Develop and implement operational policies and procedures.
  • Daily reporting to management
  • Evaluate data and numbers for operational matters
  • Resource Management
  • Manage operation timeline of team members in task completions and evaluate the workforce on business expansion
  • Process Optimization
  • Analyze existing processes and identify areas for improvement.
  • Implement innovative solutions to enhance workflow and reduce costs.
  • Team Leadership
  • Supervise, train, and mentor operational staff.
  • Set performance targets and ensure teams meet their goals.
  • Foster a collaborative and results-driven work environment.
  • Performance Monitoring
  • Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Prepare reports and present operational insights to senior management.
  • Compliance and Risk Management
  • Ensure adherence to company policies, industry regulations, and legal requirements.
  • Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies to safeguard operations.
  • Customer and Stakeholder Management
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and stakeholders.
  • Address customer concerns and ensure high-quality service delivery.

Qualifications and Skills

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in MBBS, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field (Manage a team of claims from the insurance company) is highly preferred.

Experience:

  • Proven experience in operations management or a similar role.
  • Strong track record of process improvement, resource optimization and had experience managing a business healthcare operation or insurance claims department.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience is highly preferred

Skills:

  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency in operational tools and software (e.g., ERP systems, MS Office).
  • Analytical mindset with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities under tight deadlines.
  • Ability to have strong emotional resilience whilst managing a team of people and colleagues.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM7,000.00 - RM8,000.00 per month
