Project Design Engineer

Project Collaboration: 1. Work closely with design, project, and fabrication teams to understand and meet customer needs effectively. 2. Coordinate with clients and stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure alignment on project objectives. Design and Development: 1. Develop and prepare mechanical designs and detailed technical drawings from preliminary concepts, sketches, and specifications. 2. Ensure all designs are optimized for functionality, cost, and manufacturability. Documentation: 1. Create comprehensive documentation packages, including detailed drawings, reports, and project specifications. 2. Maintain accurate records of designs, revisions, and approvals in accordance with company standards. Site Measurements and Engineering: 1. Conduct on-site measurements to validate design requirements and create engineering and construction shop drawings. 2. Generate accurate bills of materials based on design outputs. Quality Assurance: 1. Perform design verification checks to ensure compliance with specifications, standards, and project data. 2. Conduct quality inspections during fabrication and installation stages to uphold project standards. Fabrication Support: 1. Identify potential operational or production issues and provide recommendations to improve functionality and efficiency. 2. Offer technical support during manufacturing and installation phases.
