Electrician

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform pre-commissioning inspections and testing of electrical systems, including:
• Power distribution systems (e.g., UPS, generators, transformers)
• Low and medium voltage systems
• Electrical safety systems (e.g., grounding, bonding)
• Building automation systems (BAS)
• Fire suppression systems
• Conduct functional and performance testing of electrical equipment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues during the commissioning phase.
• Participate in system start-up and handover procedures.
• Prepare detailed test reports and documentation.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations, codes, and industry best practices (e.g., NEC, NFPA).
• Collaborate with engineers, technicians, and project managers to ensure successful project completion.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a licensed Electrician.
• Proven experience in data center electrical testing and commissioning.
• Able to speak in Mandarin to liaise with Mandarin speaking clients
• Strong understanding of electrical engineering fundamentals, including AC/DC circuits, power systems analysis, and electrical safety.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in relevant software (e.g., AutoCAD, Electrical CAD software).
• A strong interest in data center operations and a desire to learn and grow within the industry.
