Job Overview:
The Retail Sales Assistant is a key member of the team responsible for driving retail product sales, delivering exceptional customer service, and creating memorable experiences for customers. This role focuses on promoting and selling the café’s retail items, such as coffee accessories, gift sets, whole beans, cocoa, matcha, and other related products.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Retail Sales and Merchandising
- Proactively promote and sell the café’s retail products to customers, including coffee accessories, gift sets, whole beans, cocoa, matcha, and other items.
- Upsell and cross-sell products to increase sales revenue.
- Ensure all retail products are displayed attractively, well-stocked, and aligned with the café’s branding.
2. Customer Service Excellence
- Greet customers warmly and provide personalized assistance in selecting products based on their preferences and needs.
- Offer in-depth knowledge of retail products, including usage, benefits, and recommendations.
- Handle customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints professionally and promptly.
3. Store Operations Support
- Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing retail area within the café.
- Assist in inventory management, including restocking shelves and monitoring stock levels.
- Conduct regular checks to ensure products are priced accurately and displayed correctly.
4. Sales Reporting and Target Achievement
- Track daily sales and assist in achieving individual and team sales targets.
- Participate in sales campaigns, promotions, and events to boost product visibility and revenue.
5. Collaboration and Teamwork
- Work closely with the café team to ensure seamless operations and an exceptional customer experience.
- Provide feedback to the management team on customer preferences, trends, and suggestions for new retail products.

Requirements:
- Previous experience in retail or customer service is an advantage.
- Basic knowledge of coffee and related products is preferred but not mandatory (training will be provided).
- Flexibility to work weekends, public holidays, and shifts as required.

Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM3,000.00 per month
