Duties & Responsibilities
- To conduct comprehensive hearing assessments using audiometers and other specialized equipment for patients of all ages.
- To perform skilled assessments and provide patient management in the Specialist Suite.
- Interpret test results using specialist knowledge and analytical skills, taking appropriate actions or consulting with the attending consultant.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
- Conduct regular external visit to hearing centre’s to build professional rapport and enhance revenue.
- Prompt reporting of relevant updates and any issues pertaining Audiometry services to Specialist Suite Manager/Assistant Head of Nursing/Head of Nursing.
- Facilitate education to other health personnel/nurses as directed.
- Participate and conduct in-service training to update knowledge & skills as assigned by the Ophthalmology team and Doctors.
- Assist Specialist Suite Manager to source for replacement equipment/corrective measures to address and resolve untoward incident(s).
- Undertake any additional duties and responsibilities as delegated by Specialist Suite Manager, Assistant Head of Nursing (AHON)/Head of Nursing (HON).
Requirements
- Bachelor of Audiology (Honors).
- Certificate of attendance (User Training) the Hearing test equipment/Machine.
- Register under Allied Health Act 2019.
- 1-2 years relevant experience.
- Good communication skills, excellence analytical and problem solving skills.
- Experience in coaching, mentoring and teaching.
- Team player and efficient

Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM4,500.00 per month
