Job Summary:
As a Retail Advisor, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional shopping experiences to our customers. From assisting with sales to maintaining a visually appealing store environment, your efforts ensure smooth daily operations and help create a welcoming atmosphere for shoppers.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Customer Service
- Greet customers warmly and provide prompt assistance.
- Address customer inquiries and offer tailored product recommendations.
- Handle complaints professionally, escalating when necessary to ensure resolution.
2. Sales Support
- Assist customers in selecting products that meet their needs and preferences.
- Promote ongoing sales, special discounts, and loyalty programs.
- Strive to achieve personal and team sales targets.
3. Stock Management
- Restock shelves to maintain inventory levels and ensure product availability.
- Perform regular stock checks and report any discrepancies.
- Assist with unloading, organizing, and arranging new stock deliveries.
4. Store Maintenance
- Keep the store clean, organized, and visually appealing to enhance customer experience.
- Arrange displays in accordance with promotional guidelines.
- Monitor fitting rooms and return items to their proper places.
5. Cash Handling
- Operate the Point-of-Sale (POS) system to process transactions efficiently.
- Handle cash, credit card, and digital payments with accuracy.
- Perform daily cash reconciliation and ensure all transactions are accounted for.
6. Teamwork
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth store operations.
- Participate in staff meetings and training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Support special events and promotions as needed.
Qualifications and Skills:
Education:
- SPM or equivalent (prior retail experience is an advantage).
Skills:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic numeracy and proficiency in handling cash transactions.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Personal Attributes:
- Friendly, approachable, and customer-oriented demeanor.
- Reliable and flexible, with the ability to work weekends and public holidays.
- Detail-oriented with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
Work Environment:
- Retail store environment; may require standing for extended periods.
- Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays as required.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: RM1,700.00 - RM2,500.00 per month
