Job Summary:

As a Retail Advisor, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional shopping experiences to our customers. From assisting with sales to maintaining a visually appealing store environment, your efforts ensure smooth daily operations and help create a welcoming atmosphere for shoppers.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Customer Service

  • Greet customers warmly and provide prompt assistance.
  • Address customer inquiries and offer tailored product recommendations.
  • Handle complaints professionally, escalating when necessary to ensure resolution.

2. Sales Support

  • Assist customers in selecting products that meet their needs and preferences.
  • Promote ongoing sales, special discounts, and loyalty programs.
  • Strive to achieve personal and team sales targets.

3. Stock Management

  • Restock shelves to maintain inventory levels and ensure product availability.
  • Perform regular stock checks and report any discrepancies.
  • Assist with unloading, organizing, and arranging new stock deliveries.

4. Store Maintenance

  • Keep the store clean, organized, and visually appealing to enhance customer experience.
  • Arrange displays in accordance with promotional guidelines.
  • Monitor fitting rooms and return items to their proper places.

5. Cash Handling

  • Operate the Point-of-Sale (POS) system to process transactions efficiently.
  • Handle cash, credit card, and digital payments with accuracy.
  • Perform daily cash reconciliation and ensure all transactions are accounted for.

6. Teamwork

  • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth store operations.
  • Participate in staff meetings and training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge.
  • Support special events and promotions as needed.

Qualifications and Skills:

Education:

  • SPM or equivalent (prior retail experience is an advantage).

Skills:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Basic numeracy and proficiency in handling cash transactions.
  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Personal Attributes:

  • Friendly, approachable, and customer-oriented demeanor.
  • Reliable and flexible, with the ability to work weekends and public holidays.

Work Environment:

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM1,700.00 - RM2,500.00 per month
