Marketing Specialist / Marketing Executive

Responsibilities

1) Brand Promotion

  • Develop and implement marketing strategies to enhance brand recognition and market position within the sportswear industry.
  • Create and communicate a compelling brand story, emphasizing professionalism, style, and functionality.

2) Event Collaboration and Promotion

  • Identify partnership opportunities with marathon organizers, sports institutions, and running communities to create customized marketing campaigns.
  • Plan and promote brand exposure during events, such as banners at starting and finishing points or sponsorship of race prizes.

3) Content Planning and Creation

  • Craft engaging content related to sportswear, including product descriptions, key features, and marathon storytelling.
  • Produce captivating videos, images, and short films for social media promotion and online advertising.

4) Social Media Management

  • Oversee and optimize social media platforms (e.g., Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, X) to enhance audience engagement.
  • Organize online challenges such as running trackers or outfit-sharing contests to increase brand exposure.

5) Product Marketing Support

  • Plan product launch campaigns to support the introduction of new products to the market.
  • Gather customer feedback and collaborate with design and production teams to improve offerings.

6) Digital Marketing and Advertising Management

  • Design and execute digital ad campaigns (e.g., Google Ads, Facebook Ads) to drive website traffic and increase sales.
  • Regularly monitor and analyze ad performance to optimize ROI (Return on Investment).

7) Market Research and Competitive Analysis

  • Stay informed on trends in the running industry, consumer preferences, and competitors’ strategies to devise effective marketing plans.

8) Event Planning and Execution

  • Represent the company at industry expos, trade shows, and sports events to showcase products and enhance brand influence.
  • Organize runner community events to foster customer interaction with the brand.

Required Skills

  • Marketing Experience
  • 1–3 years of experience in marketing, branding, or related fields.
  • Prior experience in the sportswear industry or marathon-related roles is an advantage.
  • Content Creation and Planning
  • Exceptional writing skills to create content that appeals to runners.
  • Strong creativity for planning innovative marketing campaigns and activities.
  • Social Media Expertise
  • Proficiency in operating and promoting platforms like Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok.
  • Understanding how to boost engagement and brand visibility on social media.
  • Digital Marketing Skills
  • Expertise in running digital ad campaigns and SEO optimization tools (e.g., Google Ads, Meta Ads, Google Analytics).
  • Communication and Collaboration
  • Strong verbal and written communication in both English and Mandarin.
  • Ability to collaborate closely with event organizers, partners, and internal teams to ensure project success.
  • Project Management
  • Capable of handling multiple marketing tasks simultaneously, meeting deadlines, and achieving goals.
  • Market Insight
  • Deep understanding of running culture and marathon trends to identify and leverage market opportunities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience participating in or working with marathons or other running events.
  • Familiarity with the production, design, or sales of sportswear.
  • Proficiency in photography, video editing, or graphic design software (e.g., Canva, Photoshop, Premiere).
  • Established connections or resources with race organizers, running groups, or related brands.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM3,500.00 - RM4,200.00 per month
