The Special Education Teacher will be in charge of implementing tailored Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for children aged 3-6 with diverse developmental needs. This role includes conducting engaging learning sessions, tracking student progress, and collaborating with parents and a multidisciplinary team to help children achieve their developmental milestones.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Execute IEPs tailored to the individual needs of each child.

2. Plan and deliver engaging and age-appropriate educational activities.

3. Collaborate with therapists, clinical psychologists, and parents to ensure a holistic approach.

4. Monitor and document students' progress and report to respective supervisor to adjust teaching strategies accordingly.

5. Provide a supportive and inclusive learning environment.

6. Conduct parent-teacher meetings to discuss student progress and strategies for continued development.

7. Maintain classroom materials and ensure they support developmental and sensory integration needs.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in psychology or related field. Relevant teaching experience in Early Intervention Programs is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of developmental delays and neurodevelopmental disorders such as autism spectrum disorders.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Patience, empathy, and a passion for helping children achieve their potential.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM3,000.00 per month
