The Payroll Clerk is responsible for processing payroll, ensuring employees are paid accurately and timely, and maintaining records related to employee payments. The role requires strong attention to detail, familiarity with payroll software, and adherence to compliance regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review timesheets, wage computation, and other information to detect and reconcile payroll discrepancies.
- Enter payroll data into payroll software and verify for accuracy.
- Maintain payroll records, including employee details and payments.
- Calculate and process employee benefits, deductions, bonuses, and overtime pay.
- Prepare and submit reports with payroll information to HR department.
- Prepare payroll reports for management and finance.
Qualifications:
- Diploma in Accounting, and relevant field.
- 2-3 years experience in payroll or accounting preferred.
- Familiarity with payroll software (e.g., UBS).
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other accounting tools.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
