Main Functions

  • Received booking from customer and proceed booking with co-loader / liner.
  • Highlight to superior if buying cost is higher than selling to customer.
  • Coordinate for cargo pick up, custom form declaration.
  • Draft BL to customer, draft SI to co-loader / liner.
  • Request cheque from account department.
  • Billing and cost in on time.
  • Send pre-alert to counterpart.
  • In assist to attend problem solving on export shipment issue.
  • In assist to qequest/check freight cost with liner, transporter, or other vendors when necessary and needs

Other Functions

  • Coordinate with sales and counterpart for new shipment arrangement.
  • Assist customer relation/marketing by making & answering email in related to shipment matter in order to gauge the customers’ need and our performance. Report to the Superior on the development of the activities.
  • Attending to inquiry received from/calls to customers or vendor, shipping agent, transporter and etc. related to shipment requirement. In order to resolve any outstanding issues related to that particular shipment and to get the job completed on time.
  • Prepare an advise and update status of shipment progress in order to give customer a first hand information and ensuring all job file are attended. Prepare container movement report or tracking information and duty/sales tax/MIDA exemption report (if any) and send email to respective customer or key account handle by respective CS on daily/weekly/monthly basis accordance to customer SOP request.
  • Genarate invoice and cost in via UFS system timely once delivery to customer place is complete i.e. bill forwarding handling & etc charges involve prior custom clearance process accordance to quotation, also reimburse back the liner charges, demurrage charges, detention charges & other third party charges pay out to shipping agent, port authority or vendor. To ensure invoice and voucher confirm timely base on daily/weekly as lead time needs.
  • Attend training and develop relevant knowledge, techniques and skills for personal development which ultimately benefit the company.
  • Undertake other projects and activities as may be assigned by Management/Superior from time to time.

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: RM2,700.00 - RM3,200.00 per month
