Purchasing Executive

Responsibilities

• Supplier Management: Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure reliable and cost-effective sourcing.
• Procurement Planning: Coordinate with internal departments to understand procurement needs and plan accordingly.
• Negotiations: Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts to maximize value and minimize costs.
• Purchase Orders: Issue and manage purchase orders while ensuring compliance with company policies.
• Market Research: Conduct market analysis to identify trends and opportunities for cost savings.
• Inventory Control: Monitor stock levels to avoid overstocking or shortages.
• Compliance: Ensure procurement activities adhere to legal and regulatory requirements.
• Reporting: Prepare and present procurement reports to management, highlighting key metrics and insights.

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s / Diploma in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Experience: At least 2-3 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management.
• Technical Skills: Good in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Knowledge of warehouse system is an advantage.
• Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to evaluate supplier performance and market trends.
• Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Attention to Detail: Ability to manage multiple tasks with precision and accuracy.
• Negotiation Skills: Proven track record in negotiating contracts and fostering supplier relationships.
• Team Player: Able to work collaboratively with various stakeholders and team.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM2,200.00 - RM3,000.00 per month
