About the Role:

The Supply Chain Manager will be responsible in establishing the Group's supply chain strategy which encompasses inventory, procurement, logistics, supplier relationships, production planning and distribution to ensure the timely delivery of our products while minimizing costs.

This role will look into developing and implementing a cohesive framework that aligns with the organization's overall goals. In addition, the role will be assessing the current supply chain processes, identifying areas for improvement and integrating best supply chain practices to enhance efficiency and productivity.

The Responsibilities:

  • Establish the company’s supply chain strategy to support production and meet customer demand in a cost-effective manner.
  • Analyze data from shipping and delivery processes to track supply chain performance, resolve issues and identify areas for improvement.
  • Manage transportation and logistics operations to ensure the timely delivery of materials and finished goods to customers.
  • Coordinate with third-party logistics providers (3PLs) and freight carriers to ensure cost-effective and efficient shipping solutions.
  • Implement cost-effective solutions for supply chain processes.
  • Provide supply chain insights and data to support decision-making on product launches, production changes, and customer demand forecasts.
  • Conduct supplier performance evaluations and manage supplier scorecards to ensure alignment with company expectations.
  • Monitor global supply market trends to anticipate changes in material costs or availability.
  • Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives in supply chain processes to reduce waste, improve lead times and enhance efficiency.
  • Use data analytics and KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) to track supply chain performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Prepare and present regular reports to senior management on supply chain performance, risks and opportunities.

The Requirements:

  • Min Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics or similar field.
  • Excellent knowledge of supply chain processes and an all-rounder logistician.
  • Well-verse in custom operations knowledge.
  • Proven track record of managing and optimizing supply chain operations and relationships with suppliers.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data, identify trends and make datadriven decisions.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills for working with suppliers, vendors and internal teams.
  • Previous experience in local logistics companies would be preferred.
  • In-depth knowledge of logistics, warehousing and inventory management best practices.
  • Excellent knowledge of supply chain processes and best practices.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • Solid organizational and project management skills.
  • A strategic and analytical mind.
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized, with the ability to anticipate and mitigate supply chain risks.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and lead a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to thrive under pressure, prioritize tasks, and adapt to changing conditions.
