Job Title: Hybrid Mobile App Developer (Ionic Focus)

Job Summary:

As a Hybrid Mobile App Developer specializing in Ionic, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality, scalable, and efficient mobile applications for both iOS and Android platforms. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including designers, product managers, and backend developers, to deliver seamless mobile experiences that meet user needs and business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop high-performance hybrid mobile applications using Ionic Framework (Angular/React/Vue) for both iOS and Android platforms.
• Collaborate with UX/UI designers to implement mobile-optimized user interfaces.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code, adhering to best practices and coding standards.
• Integrate RESTful APIs and third-party services to enhance app functionality.
• Ensure cross-platform compatibility and performance optimization for both iOS and Android devices.
• Test and debug mobile applications to ensure high-quality, bug-free user experiences.
• Monitor app performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement necessary updates and optimizations.
• Work closely with backend developers to integrate mobile apps with databases and server-side components.
• Collaborate with project managers and product teams to define app features and functionalities.
• Maintain and update apps post-launch, ensuring compatibility with the latest iOS and Android versions.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in mobile development, particularly related to hybrid and cross-platform technologies.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Proven experience in developing hybrid mobile applications using Ionic Framework.
• Strong knowledge of Ionic (Angular/React/Vue), JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and other web technologies.
• Experience with RESTful APIs, OAuth, and integrating third-party services.
• Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
• Solid understanding of mobile application development best practices, UI/UX principles, and design patterns.
• Experience with Android and iOS deployment processes, including App Store and Google Play submissions.
• Knowledge of Cordova/PhoneGap (for native device access), SQLite, and local storage techniques in hybrid apps.
• Familiarity with unit testing and debugging hybrid mobile applications.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with other cross-platform frameworks like Flutter or React Native.
• Experience in TypeScript and SASS.
• Knowledge of Agile development methodologies.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for mobile app deployment.

Educational Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Pay: RM4,055.42 - RM7,243.05 per month
