Job Responsibilities:

· Oversee and manage all aspects of legal secretarial functions, ensuring compliance with corporate governance and legal standards.

· Prepare, review, and maintain statutory documents, including minutes of meetings, resolutions, and corporate filings with regulatory bodies.

· Coordinate and assist in the organization of board meetings, shareholder meetings, and other corporate events.

· Ensure proper maintenance of corporate records, including the register of shareholders, directors, and statutory registers.

· Advise management on compliance with legal and regulatory requirements related to corporate governance.

· Given corporate laws and regulations, assess and implement necessary changes in company policies and procedures.

· Act as a point of contact for internal and external stakeholders regarding legal secretarial matters.

· Conduct research on legal and corporate governance best practices and provide insights for continuous improvement.

· Provide training and support to staff on legal compliance and best practices in secretarial duties.

· Collaborate with the legal department to ensure alignment on corporate legal matters.

Job Requirements:

· Bachelor's degree in Law, Business Administration, or a related field; a professional qualification in company secretarial practices is preferred.

· Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in legal and secretarial roles, with a strong understanding of corporate governance.

· Comprehensive knowledge of corporate laws, regulations, and best practices.

· Excellent legal drafting and document preparation skills.

· Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.

· Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage with diverse stakeholders.

· Proficient in relevant software and technology for document management and compliance tracking.

· Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to managing legal secretarial matters.

· Fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia; proficiency in other language.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Up to RM15,000.00 per month
