We are looking for an ambitious and independent Business Development Manager to join our team. Reporting to the Country Manager, you will be responsible for acquiring new IT Managed Services projects, with a focus on the IT, cloud, and financial sectors. In this role, you must demonstrate strong leadership, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work autonomously to meet deadlines and deliver on strategic objectives.
You'll be in charge of identifying new growth opportunities and targeted prospects, as well as cultivating current customer relationships to expand commercial opportunities. It is also to be a driving force for innovation within the Synapsys, directing the thinking, education and growth of the sales team at Synapsys.
Your duties and responsibilities will be as follow:
Duties and Responsibilities
• Assess and nurture new business opportunities with a strong revenue target in mind
• Develop the new business strategy and pipeline with recommended marketing activity ensuring that the pipeline is in line with the Synapsys Digital’s goals and revenue targets.
• Lead the response to brief and pitching; lead and support the pitch teams.
• Develop strategies with fresh initiatives to meet the Synapsys Digital’s revenue goal.
• Work with the Sales team to identify new opportunities within existing client business or contacts. Maintain strong and prosperous working relationships with key clients.
• Manage existing Sales Team to train and develop and increase their productivity
• Oversee day-to-day sales, monitoring and forecasting to better understand the market
• Establish sales targets and assign sales quotas to sales team
• Stay up to date on current market trends
• Collaborate with other departments within the company to ensure sales and marketing goals are achieved
• Gather, investigate and summarize data and trends to provide accurate information through reports and presentations to management
• To prepare weekly reporting and presenting to the management
• Oversee the interviewing, hiring and training of sales and marketing recruits
• Relevant understanding about the digital marketing industry and advertising agencies and the marketing pricing on the products and services.
New Business Acquisition:
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the IT, cloud, and financial sectors.
• Lead the end-to-end business development process, including prospecting, proposal creation, and deal closure.
• Develop tailored proposals and deliver impactful presentations to prospective clients.
Strategic Planning:
• Design and execute a business strategy to achieve company revenue targets.
• Build a strong pipeline of prospective clients and ensure timely progression of deals to closure.
Client Relationship Management:
• Establish and nurture long-term relationships with clients, acting as a trusted advisor for their IT Managed Service’s needs.
• Ensure client satisfaction and identify opportunities for expanding partnerships.
Sales Leadership:
• Lead and mentor the sales team, fostering a high-performing culture that meets and exceeds sales targets.
• Assign sales quotas and monitor team performance to align with strategic goals.
Independent Operations:
• Operate autonomously, managing multiple priorities effectively and meeting all deadlines.
• Provide regular updates and reports to the Country Manager on pipeline, progress, and market opportunities.
Market Insights & Innovation:
• Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitor activities to refine business strategies.
• Recommend innovative solutions and approaches to differentiate Synapsys in the market.
Collaborative Initiatives:
• Work closely with internal teams, including delivery and marketing, to ensure alignment and achieve business objectives.
• Support cross-departmental projects to deliver comprehensive solutions to clients.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s Degree in business, business management or other related fields
• At least 6 years’ experience in Sales and Marketing in marketing agency
• At least 3 years’ experience in a management position
• Proven success in the IT Managed Services, cloud solutions, or financial industry.
• Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation abilities.
• Outstanding leadership abilities
• Strong analytical and organizational skills
• Ability to work under pressure
