The Chargeman will be responsible for overseeing the operation, maintenance, and repair of electrical and mechanical for all plant equipment, machineries and appliances to ensure the continuous and safe operation of the facility. This includes routine inspections, troubleshooting, and addressing electrical faults, as well as working in collaboration with the engineering and production teams to ensure that all electrical and mechanical systems are running efficiently. Key Responsibilities: 1. Electrical & Mechanical Systems Maintenance & Trouble shooting: o Plan, organize and perform preventive maintenance & corrective maintenance to prevent or to minimize equipment breakdown and power failure for smooth plant operation. o Troubleshoot and resolve electrical or mechanical issues arise. o Perform & record daily & periodically inspection, reading, monitoring & test electrical, mechanical & fire systems to identify and resolve problems promptly. 2. Coordination with Engineering Team: o Collaborate with the engineering team to implement system upgrades, modifications, and improvements. o Assist in the planning and execution of preventive and corrective maintenance work according to standard operating procedures. 3. Safety and Compliance: o Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations, industry standards, and internal safety protocols. o Ensure process work instruction & safety instruction are stick follow by all production staff 4. Team Supervision, Support and Housekeeping: o Coordinate and supervise the work of electrical technicians and assistants, ensuring high-quality performance. o Provide technical guidance and support to other members of the production team as needed. o Always practice good housekeeping, including use of the 5Ss’ technique or any other relevant method are decided by the management. 5. Stock and Vendor Management: o Keep a stock list of machine parts and accessories, ensuring availability for maintenance activities. o Supervise and monitor external contractors, ensuring they meet performance standards. 6. Emergency Response and Flexibility: o Be on standby during emergencies and be available to address urgent electrical issues. o Willingness to take on additional responsibilities as assigned by the superior or management. Desirable Skills: • Experience with HT/LT systems and the ability to perform high-voltage maintenance is an advantage. • Knowledge of PLC (Programmable Logic Controllers) is an advantage • Knowledge of safety protocols and industry standards.
