Security Guard

• Maintain a security watch throughout the assigned shift. • Perform routine checks of assigned areas (buildings, parking lots, and perimeters) to ensure they are secure. • Ensure all entry and exit points are monitored and secure. This includes managing gates, doors and entrances. • Immediately report any security breaches, accidents or unusual occurrences to management or the relevant authorities. • Welcome and direct visitors, clients in a professional and courteous manner while entering or exiting the premises and provide access passes or visitor badges to authorized individuals, ensuring proper logging of their entry and exit times. • Manage vehicle entry and ensure vehicles are parked in the correct zones, particularly in restricted areas. • Keep accurate records of daily activities, incidents and any security-related events. • Adhere to all safety procedures and regulations while enforcing rules in the workplace. • Ensure the security booth or post is kept clean and orderly and regularly check the condition of uniforms, tools or any safety equipment, ensuring they are functional.
