Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing large-scale IT projects within banking or financial institutions. You will be responsible for delivering end-to-end enterprise projects in a dynamic and complex environment, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Management: Lead and manage multiple IT projects, ensuring delivery within scope, time, and budget constraints.
- Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with senior leaders, external partners, and cross-functional teams to align project goals and deliverables.
- Testing Leadership: Manage SIT/UAT test planning, develop test strategies, prepare test cases, and oversee test execution progress, including defect management and review meetings.
- Vendor Coordination: Work closely with off-site development teams and IT vendors to monitor and track project delivery.
- Risk & Issue Management: Analyze and manage project risks, actively resolve issues, and ensure project delivery timelines are on track.
- Budget Management: Monitor and control project budgets and expenses, ensuring adherence to governance protocols.
- Governance Compliance: Ensure all project activities adhere to GPLC governance and necessary documentation is completed.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline.
- Certification in PMP, SCRUM Master, PRINCE2, and/or Agile methodologies.
- Minimum 6 years of experience as an IT Project Manager in large service/vendor-based organizations or established banks/financial institutions.
- Proven track record of delivering large-scale, cross-functional projects in a dynamic environment.
- At least 5 years of experience in Banking IT projects, with 2 full terms as a Test Manager/Lead.
Technical & Functional Skills:
- Expertise in project management techniques and tools.
- Ability to handle concurrent project activities and manage stakeholders effectively.
- Experience in test planning, strategy development, test case preparation, and defect management.
- Strong ability to monitor and track project progress and budget, while adhering to governance standards.

Job Type: Contract
Contract length: 12 months
Pay: RM8,000.00 - RM15,000.00 per month
