SPM Biology Tutor & SPM English Tutor Kajang Tuition Centre

The role

We are seeking experienced and passionate secondary school tutors to join our dynamic team at Pusat Tuisyen Seri Senyuman' in Kajang, and Cheras Selangor. As an SPM Biology Tutor (Fully fluent in Chinese) & SPM English Tutor (Fully Fluent in Chinese), you will be responsible for providing comprehensive and engaging tutoring to our students, with a focus on the Chinese-speaking community.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, interactive biology and English lessons to SPM-level students
• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles
• Provide personalised support and feedback to help students achieve their academic goals
• Collaborate with the team to continuously improve teaching methods and resources
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance
• Attend staff meetings and professional development sessions to stay up-to-date with curriculum changes and best practices

What we're looking for

• A bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as education, biology or English
• Minimum 2 years of experience in teaching or tutoring secondary school students, preferably in a tuition centre setting
• Provide OWN NOTES
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with students from diverse backgrounds
• Strong subject matter expertise in Biology or English, and the ability to explain complex concepts in a clear and engaging manner
• Proficiency in the Chinese language, both written and spoken, to effectively communicate with our target student population
• A passion for education and a commitment to helping students succeed

What we offer

1. Biology for F4 and F5 at Kajang Tuition Centre (Every Monday 3:30pm-6:30pm)
2. English for F3, F4 and F5 at Cheras Tuition Centre (Every Thursday 3-4pm and 4:15-5:15pm; Friday 2:30pm-3:30pm)
