The Assistant Customer Service Manager assists the Customer Service Manager in overseeing a team of customer service agents responsible for handling customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback related to restaurant and vending machine operations. This role requires strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills. The Assistant Manager will support the team in providing efficient and effective solutions to customer issues.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Customer Service Manager in the daily supervision and management of a team of customer service agents.
- Monitor agent performance, ensuring adherence to service level agreements (SLAs) and quality standards.
- Assist agents in resolving complex customer issues and complaints.
- Provide coaching and mentoring to customer service agents, fostering professional development and skill enhancement.
- Analyze customer feedback and identify areas for service improvement.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction and resolve issues efficiently.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and resolutions.
- Prepare regular reports on customer service performance and key metrics.
- Assist in the development and implementation of customer service training programs.
- Collaborate with other departments to resolve cross-functional customer issues.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; a college degree is a plus.
- 2+ years of experience in customer service, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or team lead role.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
- Proficient in using customer relationship management (CRM) software.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends (as needed).
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: RM3,437.11 - RM5,146.56 per month
