Sales support assistants perform a variety of general sales support tasks, such as supporting the development of sales plans, managing clerical activities of sales efforts, verifying client invoices and other accounting documents or records, compiling data, and preparing reports for other company departments. 1. Order Management • Order Processing: Taking, managing, and accurately placing orders on behalf of customers. • Ensuring Inventory Levels: Monitoring customer inventory needs and ensuring timely replenishment to avoid stockouts or overstocking. • Promotions Management: Executing promotions, discounts, and incentive programs to encourage increased sales. (Follows principals instructions). 3. Market and Territory Management • Route Planning: Planning and organizing daily routes to maximize efficiency and coverage of assigned territory. • Sales Reporting: Providing detailed reports on sales, customer feedback. 4. Merchandising • Shelf Placement: Ensuring proper product placement and visibility at customer locations to maximize sales potential. • Marketing Support: Setting up displays, banners, or signage to promote products during special campaigns or events. 5. Compliance and Regulations • Adhering to Alcohol Laws: Understanding and ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations related to alcohol sales and distribution. 6. Collaboration and Communication • Feedback Loop: Acting as a liaison between customers and the company, providing feedback on customer needs or concerns.
